We are a warm and hospitable fellowship, dedicated to God's Worship, the Gospel's proclamation through God's Word, Christ's love for one another, the salvation of the lost and the Holy Spirit's power.
Our Statement of Faith is rooted in the historic affirmations of basic Biblical teaching: The Bible is the divinely revealed Word of God, and is the primary guide to salvation and depository of wisdom and truth; God is one and He has chosen to reveal Himself in three persons — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit — and He is characterized by holiness, love, infinite power and wisdom; Human Beings are created by God in His own image, entrusted with the task of stewardship over creation and with the procreation of humanity, and are called to both fellowship with, and bring glory to, Him; All of humanity is fallen from God’s grace and has entered into Sin, thereby being alienated from God and estranged from one another, and must face the reality of death in spiritual, physical and eternal terms as a consequence of rebellion against God, which is the essence of sin; Jesus Christ is the living Son of God, the second member of the Trinity, who became a man, who did not sin, who died on the cross that our sins would be forgiven and physically rose from the dead that those who call upon Him might have salvation, and who now intercedes on our behalf as He sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven, and as He awaits His return to earth to establish His holy kingdom; The Holy Spirit is the third member of the Trinity, and is the operative agent in the work of salvation, abiding in power with all Christians, instructing them in the Gospel’s truth, equipping them with spiritual gifts and filling them with spiritual fruit, enabling them to stand firm in the way of Jesus and against sin and evil; The Church is the body of believers in Jesus Christ, called by God to worship Him in spirit and truth, to grow into the full measure of Christian maturity, and to execute His mandate of making disciples of all nations via the Great Commandment and the Great Commission; The Kingdom of God is that sphere of influence in which God works and that place to which all Christians are destined, and which will be fully established when Jesus Christ returns to earth — i.e. His Second Coming.
